Paddy Clarke is a ten-years-old boy who liked adventure and tease other with his friends. Sinbad was paddy's brother. Paddy always picked on sinbad when no one is there for him to. Kevin is a leader of the gang and he is the most rebel in the gang.One day, when they came back from a building site to get tools to make a boat, kevin shouted that a man is chasing paddy and friends. Everyone started to run, paddy looked back and he realized no one is chasing them. Paddy grabbed his friend,sinbad, arm and started to run. They reached the end of the road and everyone hide in a gap except sinbad because his jacket was caught by a thorn. Other friends started to teased him that someone was chasing. After they got out they went home. Sinbad forgot his shoe so his mother hitted him. Sinbad's mom told sinbad to go and find his shoe throught the dark.
Paddy Clarke and friends liked to go to building site and wrote their name on the wet cement and wall. One day, they went to one building site they played with matches and fire so paddy took off his jumper. Kevin heard the watchmen so they ran out of the building site. Paddy realized that he forgot his jumper so they ran back. They started to dance around the fire and teasing around. Monday, it was school day and paddy and his friends always get bored and they always get rebel. They played with an oil capsul. Paddy is a smart kid when he concentrate in studying. Paddy always kept kevin on track .The friends always tease sinbad until he cry. One day, paddy and his gang went to the end of the street and they started to play football, four on each side of the street. During dinner paddy and sinbad argued about adidas. Both of them never have an adidas shoe. Paddy was planning to get it this chrismas. Sinbad wanted a sleigh for christmas. Paddy wrote about what he want in the letter to santy even he did not believe that santa exist. But sinbad still believe that santa exist and he will read sinbad's letter. Paddy did not want his letter to be in the same envelope as sinbad. So, he went in the kitchen because he have an idea to open the envelope and get his letter. He plugged the kettle and he place the letter near the steam. That would allowed him to open the envelope and get his letter and close the envelope like nothing happened. When he got his letter out the steam from the kettle start to get more and more while paddy closing the envelope. He went to the kitchen and tried to unplug the kettle but the envelope in his hand was near the steam and it start to get wet and droop. One day, one of his friend found out that he got a leoprosy. But he did not tell his parent. Paddy helped him and gave many advice to him an he finally tell his parent.
